  • Upcoming Workshop: Incorporating Pride & Less Prejudice Books Into the Classroom. July 26 @ 8:00 - 9:30 PM EST | Online via Zoom

  • National Give Out Day: July 28, 2023. It is the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ community. Last year Give OUT Day raised over $1.3 million for LGBTQ nonprofits in all 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Give OUT Day is hosted by Horizons Foundation, the world's first LGBTQ community foundation.

  • Upcoming Book Launch: 2023-2024 Book Launch. August 14, 2023. Look out for our 2023-2024 Book Launch this August! We are so excited that we will be featuring 16 titles next school year, and we can't wait to share them with you all.

  • Upcoming Virtual Auction: Banned Together (Banned Books Week 2023). October 5-8, 2023. We are currently looking for small companies to donate items, experiences, or gift cards to support our biggest fundraiser of the year.   • PLP in Action Giveaway! Congratulations to our PLP In Action giveaway winners! The two winners each received a $50 gift card to Starbucks, Target, or Bookshop. Keep an eye on our social media accounts for another giveaway this month!

  • Scholastic Possible Fund will donate up to 1,000 LGBTQ-inclusive books to Pride and Less Prejudice! Scholastic’s mission is to help children learn and grow and to give them the tools and skills they need to navigate their individual futures, and collectively, the future of the 21st century. They believe that books offer a doorway to imaginatixon and discovery, and build strong lifetime foundations for reading and learning

  • Interactive Read Aloud is now available on our website! Thank you to our very own Curriculum Support, Elana Fruchtman!

  • Meet our New Team Members!

    • Summer Intern: Ethan Seavey (he/they) is a queer writer. They are a recent graduate of New York University where they studied critical and creative production, French language, and creative writing.

    • Development & Communications Intern: Lori Hashasian (she/her) is a rising junior at Bowdoin College majoring in Anthropology and Education with a minor in Hispanic Studies.
